{"id":21,"date":"2013-04-09T23:57:45","date_gmt":"2013-04-09T22:57:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/nonewwars.co.uk\/blog\/?p=21"},"modified":"2013-04-09T23:58:36","modified_gmt":"2013-04-09T22:58:36","slug":"time-to-plan-an-initial-timeline","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nonewwars.co.uk\/blog\/2013\/04\/time-to-plan-an-initial-timeline\/","title":{"rendered":"Time to Plan \u2013 an Initial Timeline"},"content":{"rendered":"<style type=\"text\/css\"><!--\nH1 { margin-bottom: 0.21cm; }H1.western { font-family: \"Times New Roman\",serif; }H1.cjk { font-family: \"WenQuanYi Zen Hei\"; }H1.ctl { font-family: \"Lohit Hindi\"; }P { margin-bottom: 0.21cm; }P.western {  }A:link {  }\n--><\/style>\n<p><strong>Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My intention for the No New Wars organisation, and the 11\/11\/2018 campaign is:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Register NoNewWars.* sites.<\/li>\n<li>Register 11112018.* sites.<\/li>\n<li>Create a blog, a wiki and a forum.<\/li>\n<li>Upload the content I have already written.<\/li>\n<li>Order some double-sided business cards promoting No New Wars on one side and Eleven Eleven Twenty-Eighteen on the other.<\/li>\n<li>Check out the opinion of friends, family and colleagues to see what they think \/ take feedback \/ see if my morale is tougher than their criticism.<\/li>\n<li>Come up with suitable catchy expressions for the No New Wars organisation and the 11112018 campaign.<\/li>\n<li>Aim to do this before 11\/11\/2012 (giving me about 6 weeks).\u00a0 (<em>originally written about the start of Oct 2012<\/em>)<\/li>\n<li>Put together a more detailed plan for publicity by 31\/12\/2012.<\/li>\n<li>Aim to have achieved national radio and newspaper coverage before 11\/11\/2013, so that politicians can have 5 years\u2019 warning of what is coming.<\/li>\n<li>By the end of 2015 have a high UK profile.<\/li>\n<li>By the summer of 2016, have every major UK political party discuss adding the No New Wars commitment at their summer conference.<\/li>\n<li>By the end of 2016 have a profile in Western Europe and the USA.<\/li>\n<li>By the end of 2017 have a definite lobbying ability aggressively pushing the 11\/11\/2018 message at all UK MPs and prospective candidates.\u00a0 Also, able to target local councillors of major political parties.<\/li>\n<li>By 31\/12\/2017 have every major UK political party include a \u201cNo New Wars\u201d commitment in its party manifesto.<\/li>\n<li>By 11\/11\/2018 have every major UK political party include a \u201cNo New Wars ever\u201d commitment in its party rules.<\/li>\n<li>By 11\/11\/2018 have a majority of UK MPs aware their career will be over if they vote for a new war.<\/li>\n<li>By 11\/11\/2018 to have a functional, international, No New Wars organisation in place and actively lobbying Western Europe and the USA as a minimum.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance.
