It is actually an <a href=\"http:\/\/www.st-andrews.ac.uk\/intrel\/pg\/pcs\/\" target=\"_blank\">MPhil or MLitt in Peace and Conflict Studies<\/a>.\u00a0 They have a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.st-andrews.ac.uk\/study\/pg\/meet-us\/visiting-days\/\" target=\"_blank\">postgraduate open day<\/a> on 11th November 2015 which is an appropriate day (Remembrance Day) to find out about their peace studies.\u00a0 That looks like a jolly good idea, especially since we like Edinburgh.<\/p>\n<p>So, how to get there.\u00a0 Oh.\u00a0 I thought St Andrews Uni wa in Edinburgh.\u00a0 It&#8217;s not.\u00a0 By quite a lot.\u00a0 It&#8217;s in a place called\u2026 St Andrews.\u00a0 Which <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/St_Andrews_Rail_Link\" target=\"_blank\">does not have a train station<\/a>.\u00a0 That&#8217;s not convenient.\u00a0 And it&#8217;s a 90 minute to 2 hour commute from Edinburgh, or an hour from Dundee.<\/p>\n<p>For me to study, requires us to have an income.\u00a0 We&#8217;d have to move to where there are jobs.\u00a0 I don&#8217;t think St Andrews is practical because of the lack of public transport to get there.<\/p>\n<p>Such a shame.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I keep seeing University of St Andrews Peace Studies MA being referenced so St Andrews is on my list of potential places to go to do an MA in Peace Studies.
